The 2011 Scratch Winter Mini-Eliminator has completed its last full day of action with one final qualifying squad left at 9am on Sunday. Saturday began with the Lane #1 Shootout and the winner was J.C. Zuniga, Tulsa, OK. JC shot a 255 with the new Lane #1 BoomR-ang and earned $2,500. Pete Thomas, who also comes from Oklahoma, not only finished fourth but earned a $300 bonus with a 300 game during shootout qualifying. Pete earned a total of $1,300 in the Lane #1 Shootout.
Entries continued strong throughout the 4 qualifying squads. The top 49 & under bowler of the day was Jim Wolcott, Hendersonville, TN who rolled a 772 in the noon squad. The top senior of the day was Brian Tinsley, Klamath Falls, OR who rolled a 708 in the noon squad.

Saturday began with the Lane #1 Shootout and the winner was Robert Rozycki, Allen Park, MI who shot a 252 with the new Lane #1 BoomR-ang and earned $2,500. Finishing second by only one pin was Darrin Remiticado, Stockton, CA who rolled a 251 and earned $1,500.
Entries continued strong throughout the 4 qualifying squads. The 199 & under bowler of the day was Louiel Tanate, Pahrump, NV who rolled a 757 series on the 8pm squad. The high 200 to 220 division bowler was Chase Nadeau, Grand Junction, CO who rolled a 718 series in the 8pm squad.
